Arvind Pallan

Consultant Radiologist

Arvind has over 15 years of experience as a Consultant Radiologist and has a specialist interest in diagnostic hepatobiliary and gastrointestinal imaging. He has particular expertise with investigation of the liver, pancreas, gallbladder and bile ducts with abdominal ultrasound, endoscopic ultrasound, CT scans and MRI scans. Arvind works closely with his radiology, surgical and hepatology colleagues and is a core member of the University Hospitals Birmingham hepatobiliary multidisciplinary team meeting; providing expert interpretation to optimise the care of patients with cancer and benign diseases.

Arvind also has expertise in the imaging of the large and small bowel and is a core member of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital inflammatory bowel disease, pelvic floor and colorectal cancer multidisciplinary teams.

Arvind is actively involved in research and also provides teaching and supervision for Clinical Radiology trainees in the West Midlands.
